Creating a logo

Creating a successful logo for your business can be really difficult; picking the right font, sizing and colour may seem like easy choices but there is a lot depending on these simple selections, they are the deciding categories of who sees and takes notice of your brand and who holds on to things such as business cards and CV's. The logo I create will be placed on my business cards, illustrations, CVs, invoices and my business plan etc, so the final design I go for needs to look really effective. For my chosen logo I want something really clean and simple, yet really eye-catching with lots of vibrant colours. I have tried several different fonts from the app 'Over' and these are some of my favourites that I have created so far...

I really love this font! I think its clean, simple, eye catching and readable - which is a really important factor!
I really love the simplicity of this font and how clean it looks, simple and clean are two key essentials of what I want my logo to be, so this is a definite contender.

This font is eye-catching and although I love the handwriting style  I think this may be too difficult to read.
I love this font but again I think its quite hard to read with the letters being blocked out, although this could be a really eye catching element to add to my brand!

Adding imagery or illustrations like I have in the example above can look really effective but sometimes can be too much colour, I think that although the colours in these illustrations I selected are really bright and vibrant, they also compliment each other and its not too much in a small space. What do you all think? Let me know in the comments.
